In 2002 we released a special wine that recognizes and celebrates the contribution our former neighbor Jim Guadagni made to the wine, grapes and folks who lived in Dry Creek Valley.

“Guadagni Red” comes in a 3 liter jug. It is a blend mostly of the grapes that Jim knew — Zinfandel, Mourvèdre, Carignane — and looks and tastes like the wines that Jim probably enjoyed as a young man.

Susan and I invite you to join us at the winery Sundays to share a glass of Guadagni Red, and toast the man and the memory.
